Miles turns 2!
We took a trip out to South Bend to visit Grandma & Grandpa R over Halloween. Flying with the Bug was a little more challenging this time, but it wasn’t as bad as we thought it could be. The portable DVD player was a lifesaver…we got a Sony DVPFX810, which worked out just fine. I checked out a bunch at Best Buy and looked at several reviews online…frankly they all leave something to be desired. I chose this one because mainly based on size (nice and small), advertised battery life (5+hrs) and price (under $200).
Anyhow, the trip was great…we got to see movies…grown-up movies…in a movie theater…at night!!! And Grandpa R took me to a Notre Dame basketball game, which was a lot of fun. Next year I want to time our trip so we can see a football game.
We didn’t have a big birthday party, just had some small celebrations with friends and family. Needless to say, the grandparents lavished Miles with gifts…thank you!
