After a somewhat exhausting search for a new home closer to work, we’ve decided to stay put. We weren’t finding anything in San Francisco or the East Bay that seemed worth trading for what we have now, plus, the commute from Oakland probably wasn’t gonna be much shorter than our North Bay commute (after factoring in congestion on the 580, the 80 and the Bay Bridge). We didn’t find anything near a BART station that wasn’t ridiculously over priced, and the more we learned about TICs in the city, the less we liked them. Oh well…at least we made an effort.
