It’s been awhile since the last post…hard to find free time these days We’ve done quite a bit since the last update. We’ve taken the Larkspur ferry in to the city a couple of times now, which is really a fun outing. One Saturday we went to Union Square, Chinatown and North Beach, and another Saturday to the Castro. Tip for parents with babies…there’s a decent changing station at the ferry plaza building, and a really nice one at the downtown Crate & Barrel…the Castro’s not so kid friendly.

Miles started eating solid food. So far he’s had sweet potato, rice cereal, applesauce, banana and peas. He still prefers breast feeding, but as far as the solids go, peas seem to be the running favorite.

Sleeping is still a little touch-and-go…we had a lot of success in the early months sleeping him in a miracle blanket, but he’s gotten too big for it and has now graduated to a sleep sack. He flails around enough to wake himself up easily, and mom has had a hard time getting a good night’s sleep.
