Merry Christmas!

It’s hard to believe that Miles’ first Christmas has come and gone. Last week we braved the mall and took him to get his picture taken with Santa. Miles was pretty mellow the entire time we were waiting in line…I was sure he was gonna start wailing as soon as it was our turn, but he stayed pretty calm, even in Santa’s lap, and we were able to get a decent photo.
We spent Christmas eve at Dave & Kandice’s…a nice little tradition that Kandice started a few years ago. Miles slept the whole way to Los Altos (a little less than 2 hours) and was fairly alert while we were there, although he decided to make a few extra wet diapers just to keep Lisois and I on our toes. It was our longest outing with cloth diapers only and I’d have to say it went smoothly.
We had a lazy Christmas morning. I held the Bug on my lap and attempted to help Uncle Joshua set up Grandpa’s wireless network over the phone while Lisa made us a delicious French Toast breakfast. It was 3:30pm by the time we finally got out of the house and made our way to Grandma & Grandpa Smithson’s for Christmas dinner. Miles was a trooper…he made it to 8pm before he finally started to melt down. We were able to get him home and relaxed in a bath before it got too out of hand.
Some pics have been posted, but I forgot my camera at Grandma’s house, so I’ll have to upload those tomorrow.
